Happy Halloween!
I didn’t get around to getting as much decorating done this year as I had hoped. There was just way too much going on this month. If you saw my guest post on Brooklyn Limestone (loving her theme this year!) you will get a general idea of how my house was supposed to look.
I had craft ptojects I wanted to get completed which I just never got around to. So I plan on completing them through the next 365 days so next year I am prepared.
I have been on the lookout for a mannequin for ages. I love how Cathy’s cottage turned out as featured on The Old Painted Cottage. Her mannequin looks great and certainly provides a great opportunity to decorate all year long.
For a long time now I have wanted to do a gallery wall in my dining room. For the season I would replace the photos with ghoulish ones like these.
It’s amazing what you can find on Google.
These velvet pumpkins are way out of my price range but I think I can make them myself out of scraps. I am loving the colors.
I’m sort of a non-traditional girl when it comes to holiday decorating. My home is a pretty neutral color palate so I can choose colors I love as accents which is really easy. My walls are grey and the moldings are white. This year I had wanted to do a blue and green theme to my Halloween. Check out my Pinterest inspiration board.
Love those cool images, and putting them in a gallery during the season would be so much fun! Love those velvet pumpkins too. Thanks for posting and Happy Halloween! 🙂
